temporary updates

As we receive more updates for the city and the health department, our team is doing our best to maximize service while minimizing risk for the families we serve, volunteers, and our staff. For the foreseeable future, our programs will look a little different. Read the plan below to find out how to access our programs for the time being!

OFFICE HOURS

Office hours vary based on programs. The best way to reach a staff member is to call and leave a voicemail at 417-720-1065.

CROSSLINES FOOD PANTRY

The Crosslines Food Pantry will shift to an order-ahead system. If you are CURRENTLY registered with Crosslines use the button below to place your order.

If you are NOT currently registered with Crosslines, give them a call at (417) 869-0563.

COMMUNITY DINNER

In order to best serve our families while minimizing risk, dinners will be served to-go style from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

To get your meal:

  1. Get in line at the front of the building.

    1. Cars - Pull into the circle drive. As the line gets longer, someone will help direct the line traffic.

    2. People walking - Line up on the sidewalk coming from Atlantic Street (on the East Side of Missouri Street)

    3. Someone will come to you, take your order, and bring your to-go boxes out.

VOLUNTEERS

Because we serve an at-risk population, we are doing our best to minimize the risk we present to DC families. This means decreasing the amount of people in our building throughout the week. For the foreseeable future, there will be no on-site volunteer opportunities. For now, we encourage you to see a need, meet a need in your families, apartment complexes and neighborhoods. Spread joy, share fun things on social media and practice gratitude.

If you’re looking for a way to help, Neighbor to Neighbor is a great way to get started. As tangible needs arise for DC families, we want to play matchmaker with the helpers in our community.

DONORS

Your dollars are still at work even as programs look different. We could not do this without you. Thank you for making help and hope possible for so many families. Together we can do much more.

Giving $25, $50, or $100 allows us to meet some of these practical needs for families in our community.
